Imoto
Introducing Coach Imoto, the Head Coach of “Ignite Tennis Academy”.
It was through a certain challenge I encountered at my junior high school that I came to know Coach Imoto’s special words, which deeply impressed me and allowed me to learn not only tennis skills but also other aspects beyond the physical and mental aspects of the game.
That received belief is the secret of “Team Takahito”.
I will strive to achieve results that will bring him satisfaction as soon as possible.

Teaching is a diverse and challenging task. It’s not just about providing the correct answers but also finding the most effective coaching approach based on the individual’s characteristics, age, and situation. He possesses an exceptional talent for selecting the right words and nuances that resonate with me. He coaches me while considering my mindset and understanding my thoughts in the given moment. I still cherish the time when he remarked, “Takahito’s focus during the lessons sets him apart from other junior players.”

I am amazed by the technology that helps me become an optimized opponent during private or small group semi-private lessons. It feels like experiencing karate training in the Matrix with Morpheus.
My father shared with me that when I first started learning with “Ignite Tennis Academy”, he had a unique and highly positive impression off the court, unlike any other coach he had encountered before.

One of the coaches leading AC Ignite.
Despite their gentle and charming demeanor, they provide precise and straightforward advice.
They also teach physical training, helping me improve my foundational skills.
Personal Trainer
Onsho
He is a former arm wrestling champion of Japan. Now, he works as a sports coach at a university.
Due to an extraordinary and unusual encounter, I’ve been able to have him assess my physical condition.
He imparts deep values to me about the meaning, purpose, and mindset of training.
He secretly shares with me the secret essence of knowledge that can’t be found on Google or YouTube.
He is an important person who will help realize my future.
I am deeply grateful to Ms. Y for creating this miraculous encounter.

When I was in fourth grade, I coincidentally saw him giving a lesson on the court adjacent to mine and approached him, asking if he could teach me. It was fascinating to receive lessons from him during my early years in junior tennis, but at the same time, it required courage to practice in an environment that was quite different from the typical Japanese school. Nevertheless, with his unwavering belief in the importance of it, he shaped my tennis foundation into something extraordinary.
I look forward to collaborating with him when I visit France!

Juan Carlos Ferri
He teaches me the Spanish Forehand technique and refines my skills, providing new suggestions along the way. He is positive, cheerful, and kind, and I always eagerly anticipate our meetings as they uplift my spirits. I am grateful to have someone who brings me such happiness.
Additionally, he has imparted many valuable lessons beyond tennis. I hope to visit Spain with him someday!
P.S. Tortilla de papatas and sayori are the best! (Note: Tortilla de papatas refers to a Spanish potato omelette, while sayori is a type of fish.)

Murakami
Coach Murakami is the main coach for my doubles partner, Soura-kun, and he mainly coaches us in doubles.
If his lesson schedule doesn’t overlap, he comes to our match venues to watch us play, showing great enthusiasm and kindness as a coach.
He is the one who made the miraculous come-from-behind victory (real-life Slam Dunk) possible in my first national tournament.

Yokoyama
He primarily coaches doubles for the Hibarigaoka Gakuen boys’ tennis team.
Personally, I’ve received doubles coaching from him, and he’s someone who really enjoys tennis. He’s always willing to play matches with coaching friends and be our practice partner, and you can feel his genuine love for tennis.
He also has a hobby of playing the guitar and singing, making him a versatile coach!

His language and guidance philosophy are full of surprises. The reason behind this is that he shares a similar vision, almost aligning with that of my father. Although my father is not a tennis player, I believe he would have expressed the same sentiments as he did.
It raises the question: How should we approach our lives as individuals, prioritizing our character and behavior over skills and strategies?
My father used to tell me, “This is where the true transformative lessons lie. It all depends on the recipient, though.”
Junior High School
Hibarigaoka Gakuen
The school I attend is also my mother’s alma mater. During a kindergarten information session, I learned that the principal at the time had the best reputation compared to other schools, which influenced my decision to enroll. Many of the friends I made in kindergarten were exceptional, and that is why I chose to continue attending this school all the way through junior high.
In junior high school, I had the privilege of serving as the captain of the tennis club, and I was featured on the school’s website and in the pamphlet.
While this school may not be widely recognized for its boys’ tennis program and lacks any official recommendations, this allowed me to gain a valuable experience of teaching tennis to my friends who began playing in junior high school.
