Barcelona Summer Tour

Competing, Learning, and Growing on the Road with Coach Adam

While many friends headed back home for the summer, I chose to stay a little longer and go on a competitive journey before returning to Japan.

Together with my coach for the past year, Adam, and a few other players, we traveled to Barcelona to play six tournaments. I’m happy to share that I was able to win two of them!

During our off time, we explored the city — including visiting the breathtaking Sagrada Família. More than anything, having the chance to travel and compete with the coach who has guided me all year was truly special and meaningful.

Competing well on the road isn’t easy; maybe the only way to get used to it is simply by experiencing more and more of it. There are still many challenges to overcome, but traveling with Adam and having his guidance every step of the way made these days a huge step forward for me.

Adam, I’m truly grateful for everything.
